I have always been a bit of a control freak. Plain and simple. But over the last couple years I have forged an immensely trusting bond with Anouck Bertin (lots of her work is featured in prior posts) when it comes to photography and artwork, and so my death grip has loosened on visual collaborations that pertain to White Sea. Alas Anouck is not California based or bound currently, so… Enter Aasim, Tarek, and Andrea of Sugar and Fluff.
I was first approached by Aasim and Tarek at a White Sea show here in L.A., where they told me that they would love to collaborate on a project. I quickly found out that they were a team of incredible set-designers, graphic artists and fine artists. Though Sugar and Fluff currently focuses mainly on event planning, they are excited to be branching out to more unchartered waters. Hence… White Sea is releasing a remix EP at the beginning of March and Sugar and Fluff will be heading up the design of the cover artwork as well as a series to accompany the release. I am very excited to be working with these talented individuals and cannot wait to share their work with you. Here is a taste:
